You’re the one;
the one who sees light in the darkest of days;
the one who feels warmth in the coldest of nights;
the one who finds beauty in the harshest of worlds;
the one who brings joy amongst lashings of pain.
You’re the one;
the only one I need.
I’m so speechless I sat looking at the comment box for two minutes! The poem is resplendent with so much joy it makes me happy just thinking about it 🙂 A complete and utter buzz, a heart-warming testament of everything we are capable of when loving another.
That’s the best compliment I could ever receive. Thank you so much, Mel, for both the kind words and the re-blog. I truly appreciate your endless support and generosity.
It is my absolute pleasure 🙂 I’m still buzzing from your poem so I might capitalise on that and do something productive!

I LOVE this poem, truth be told I love all Callum’s poems, but this is a sucker-punch of greatness, wrapped up in a ball of happy 🙂
This poem has the beauty of a wedding vow:)
That’s very kind, thank you 🙂
