Favourite of the month: The Glass Woman
I had another really enjoyable month in terms of embroidery. The following projects were the result, some of which are still available over on my etsy shop.
I’d been having an urge to start dabbling in painting for the first time in years, so after getting hold of some supplies for my birthday, I started playing around with watercolours. I was instantly hooked, with the following pieces just a handful of what I ended up producing.
Last but certainly not least, we have the main event: the pet pictures!

There we have it! Did you have a good month in June? What was the best book you read?
Ted is so gorgeous! (So are your cats!) My favourite book so far this year is Ursula Le Guin’s The Dispossessed.
He certainly is! 😆
Great interesting books to put on my tbr. Love the embroidery do you have a fox? It’s good to hear you have many artistic interests I love those watercolours. Are your cats torte or tabby? Say hello to Ted I miss my cocker spaniel dearly!
Thank you very much 🙂 I don’t have any foxes at the moment sadly, but I have stitched a couple in the past and would love to do one again!
The cats are both tabby, and I will certainly give Ted some extra pats on your behalf.
Thanks for your reply. We have a resident fox we feed in the garden, beautiful he is! I thought your cats were tabby I’ve had them in the past and now have a torte. Aw Ted is a looker!
