  1. Voting Day sounds quite something. I will be interested in the plot first and not so much in the politics but since I am sure most people think of Switzerland as a more or less “pristine” country that had a long tradition of civil liberties, or so they say, it will be very interesting to read about one of its historic episodes that was not so spotless apparently.

    • Yeah, I was really surprised to learn they were so comparatively late in giving women the vote! I was lucky enough to get an ARC of it recently, so hopefully I’ll pick it up early in the new year.

  2. Ooh I had Pollak’s Arm on offer from BB recently and I was intrigued but I hadn’t heard ANYTHING about this book so it felt like a bit too much of a risk. So I’ll be really eager to hear your thoughts!

    Jawbone and Shadow Girls both sound amazing, and I’m OBSESSED with the cover of Under Her Skin.
