  1. What a lovely post! I’m especially drawn to anything about books, so THE BOOKSHOP BOOK looks right up my alley. I’m also quite drawn to IRIS GRACE—I love reading about people and animals who just seem to have a very special connection.

Off the top of my head, some feel-good nonfiction for me are I’D RATHER BE READING: THE DELIGHTS AND DILEMMAS OF THE READING LIFE by Anne Bogel, another book for bookworms, and anything about being comfortable in silence and solitude, like QUIET by Susan Cain or HOW TO DO NOTHING by Jenny Odell. 🙂

  2. Perfect timing for feel-good books! The Bookshop Book sounds lovely. Personally, I tend to read crime fiction. Guess it has to do with the escapism factor, crime fiction helps to block out the harsh realities of the real world for a while.

  3. This is such a great idea, and honestly I feel better even just reading these blurbs (and seeing the images!). You chose a great set. I’m particularly intrigued by Gifted; I hadn’t heard anything about that project but love the idea of it!

    • Yay, I’m glad you liked it! I was – ironically – gifted that particular book a few years ago, and hadn’t heard of the project before that! The pieces are beautiful and really interesting.
