  1. Hooray for The Pull of the Stars, The Doll Factory and The Mercies! I can’t decide which way I’d jump on Leave the World Behind – still keen to try it.

  2. Frannie Langton has stuck with me so much! Even though it wasn’t a five star read for me I keep thinking about it!

I really, really want to get to The Doll Factory, especially now that the author is coming out with another book about a CIRCUS in Victorian England!!

  3. ‘Leave the World Behind’, ‘Loyalties’, and ‘Grimoire’ are Must Reads in 2021 for me. Since you picked those three, I trust the rest of your list.

  4. Ooh, what a gorgeous list! I spy several titles I’m hoping to read in the new year- The Pull of the Stars, The Doll Factory, Leave the World Behind, and Frannie Langton- so I’m increasingly excited to get to those, seeing them rank so highly for you. Others here that I’ve read were memorable for me as well, even if not quite as high up my list, and we do have one in common- The Mercies will also be in my top ten! I’m glad to see your reading year had such strong highlights, and I hope 2021 will too. 🙂

  5. Great list! I enjoyed Frannie and The Doll Factory in 2019. The Pull of the Stars by Emma Donoghue is on my TBR for 2021 and I’m beginning to be drawn towards The Mercies more and more. Might give that a go, too! 🙂

  6. Great list! The only one I’ve actually read is The Mercies so I’m pleased to see you rank it at #1! I have a few others here on my TBR too. Happy New Year!
