  1. Thanks for the review, Callum. I had this book in my hand a couple of days ago in a bookshop but couldn’t make up my mind about it. I might download a sample to my Kindle.

  2. Great review! I’ve only read one of Ryan’s books so far and really liked it- I definitely want to try more of his work, but have seen mixed reactions to this one. I’m glad to see you found plenty to appreciate in it despite a few heavy-handed flaws, and I’m much more intrigued to continue with Ryan’s work seeing him rank among your favorites!

    • Thank you! I still have a couple of his books to get to, so it’ll be interesting to see how they compare. So far nothing has competed with All We Shall Know for me, which I read first. I hope you enjoy whichever of his works you may decide to pick up next.

      • Ooh, that’s good to hear! I’ve only read From a Low and Quiet Sea, and added All We Shall Know to my shelf afterward. I’m more eager to pick it up now knowing it’s been your favorite of Ryan’s work (so far)!
