  1. I really loved the meta nature of this, and agree it appeals to both genre and literary fiction lovers – Baker’s examination of her subject reminds me a lot of Tana French, too.

  2. Great review, this one sounds promising! It’s too bad it doesn’t approach mental health as well as it seems to do some other things; I will adjust my expectations accordingly, but I’m definitely excited to read it! So glad to see you liked it!

    • Thank you! I’ve definitely seen much worse mental health rep, but I felt it used a couple of tropes that could have been subverted or at least explored a little more, especially given the purpose of the book.

  3. I’ve been seeing a lot of reviews going around about this lately, and I’m glad you liked it! I love literary thrillers and can’t wait to read this one. Women’s bodies is also one of my fave themes in literature, so I feel this book is my thing. Great review! 🙂
