  1. I love Leia so much. I grew up with her and her, alongside Padme, taught me a lot about standing up for myself, being smart and tough, and not taking crap from anyone! I bawled like a baby in the latest film during all the scenes with Carrie though ❤

    • I know exactly what you mean; her scenes definitely took on a bittersweet feel. And I’m so glad they left her performance untouched. I think giving us at least one last proper outing for Leia exactly as they had intended was the best way to honour both her and Carrie.

      It’s comforting to know that in a sense, Carrie will always live on through Leia as well, continuing to inspire new generations of kids as they discover Star Wars.
