July was a really fantastic month in regards to reading. I managed to get through 11 books in total (7 novels, a double novella anthology, a poetry collection and 2 graphic novels). I’m not quite sure how that happened but I’m very happy that it did.
There were some great reads in there but the real highlight of the month for me was The Gracekeepers by Kirsty Logan, a fantasy meets fairy tale with gorgeous writing, a lovable ragtag group of characters and a wonderfully unique setting that I found enchanting.
My total number of books read this year currently stands at 65 and I’m excited to see what August holds for me in terms of reading.
Did you read any great books in July? How are you getting on with your reading goals for the year?
