  1. I love this line: “but my love is the anchor / pulling me down towards unknown depths,”. Almost there seems to be a sad-happy feeling to this one, like narrator tried to escape this but has now accepted it as fate. This piece is very intriguing, allows for multiple reads.

  2. This one tugs at the heart strings. Its sadness pulled at me and the joyful release when you go a little deeper. But then you have a gift, and you drag your readers right into the centre of the poem so they have no choice but to feel. I love the layers to it, I could read it time and again and get something new each time.
